Santa Fe Headshot Photographer: Corporate, LinkedIn, and Personal Branding
A headshot does one thing: it tells someone who you are before you open your mouth. If it looks like a driver's license photo or a conference lanyard, it is doing the opposite of what you need. I photograph headshots in Santa Fe for executives, attorneys, real estate agents, healthcare providers, speakers, musicians, and anyone whose face is part of their professional identity.

What a Santa Fe headshot session looks like
Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes. We work through two or three locations — typically a combination of natural outdoor light and a controlled indoor setup — so you leave with variety rather than twenty versions of the same frame. I direct loosely. I am not looking for a pose; I am looking for the moment between poses when your face settles into something genuine.
Most clients are nervous about having their photo taken. That is normal and it does not produce bad photographs — what produces bad photographs is trying too hard. My job is to keep the session moving fast enough that you stop thinking about the camera. The best images from a headshot session almost always come from the last fifteen minutes, once you have relaxed into it.
Locations for Santa Fe headshot sessions
Santa Fe has more usable headshot backdrops per square mile than almost any city its size. Adobe walls in the historic district. The Railyard's industrial textures. Canyon Road's layered gardens. The Convention Center's clean architectural lines. Museum Hill with the Sangre de Cristos behind you.
For indoor sessions, I use controlled lighting in environments that feel like the client's professional world — law offices, hotel lobbies, gallery spaces. The background should support the image, not compete with it. If you have a specific location in mind, I am flexible. If you do not, I will recommend something based on your industry and the impression you want to make.
Corporate and team headshots
For teams of five or more, I set up an efficient on-site rotation at your office or preferred location. Each person gets 10 to 15 minutes, which is enough time to produce two or three strong selects. I can photograph 20 to 30 people in a half-day and have edited selects delivered within a week.
Team headshot sessions work well for law firms, medical practices, real estate brokerages, startups, and nonprofit leadership teams updating their website or annual report. I coordinate with an office contact to schedule the rotation, handle the logistics, and keep things moving so nobody loses more than 15 minutes of their workday.

LinkedIn and personal branding headshots
LinkedIn headshot sessions are individual sessions optimized for a single strong image — the one that appears next to your name every time you comment, connect, or send a message. These sessions run 30 to 45 minutes and focus on one or two locations with one wardrobe option. You leave with five to eight edited selects to choose from. From $350.
Personal branding sessions are longer — 90 minutes to two hours — and designed for people who need a library of images across multiple looks and locations. Coaches, consultants, speakers, and creative professionals who need content for a website, a book proposal, a course launch, or an ongoing social media presence. From $650.
Headshot session details and booking
All sessions include edited high-resolution files delivered via private download gallery within five business days. Turnaround can be expedited to 48 hours if needed — ask when booking. Commercial usage rights included. Print releases included.
